About

Our Roots

In 1974, local individuals who liked to tinker with old machinery began getting together once a year to "play" with their collections. The collection of old machinery needed a home and the group needed a name. It was then that the South Central Threshing Association was formed. Through the hard work of the organization's founding fathers and their spouses, the association has grown and collected a massive amount of history. The Threshers are now a 501 3 (c) non-profit.

Rock and Roll

Farmboy

Mylo Hatzenbuhler, the Original Rock & Roll Farmboy, will be performing on Saturday from after the parade until 4pm.  Learn more about this "man of the soil transformed into a rock music icon" who lives on a fictional farm "eight miles east of Strasburg and a half." Events

The South Central Threshing Association's mission is "To Preserve Machinery and Traditions of the Past." Each event we host is designed to support our mission though fundraising, promoting membership or continuing traditions. The success of our events are only possible with your support!
